Every adventure deserves great crew... ours just happen to be two globe-trotting gnomes! 🌎✨ Timothy & Tabitha have been flying and sailing alongside the G~Man for over 20 years, joining countless adventures across the world. Timothy earned his name from Timothy Leary because he's been on the trip of a lifetime! 😄✈️⛵ Together they've become the tiny ambassadors of curiosity, laughter, and adventure. The name Gnomad blends Gnome and Nomad, perfectly capturing their adventurous philosophy of “Travel Far, Laugh Loud, Live Fully. “

USCG Licensed Master, NauticEd & ASA Sailing Instructor, I don’t just teach sailing, I help people step into the lifestyle that comes with it.
By day, I’m Director of Training for Firehawk Helicopters specializing in fire fighting & utility.
I’m also a Dudeist priest, so if you’re dreaming of a laid-back, oceanfront wedding, I’ve got you covered.
Off the clock, I’m building Gnomad Sailing Adventures, with a vision to offer hands-on sailing experiences all over the globe, teaching you not just how to sail, but how to truly enjoy the journey, where strangers become crew and stories write themselves.

Growing up along England’s south coast 🇬🇧, Cliff was never far from the sea. From an early age, he found himself drawn to the horizon, imagining the places that might be waiting beyond it. What began as a childhood dream gradually became a lifelong connection to the water. 🌊
That dream truly came to life when Cliff and his wife, Mary, discovered a shared passion for sailing. ❤️⛵ Together, they embraced the freedom, challenge, and sense of discovery that come with life under sail. Each voyage brought new destinations, new friendships, and countless memories shaped by open water, steady winds, and sunsets viewed from the deck. 🌅
Determined to deepen his knowledge and experience, Cliff earned his U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License 🛥️⚓. Sailing soon became far more than a pastime. It became a lifelong adventure, a source of confidence, and a way to connect with people who share the same curiosity about the world.
Today, one of Cliff’s greatest joys is helping others experience the magic of taking the helm. 🌟 Whether guiding a first-time sailor, sharing practical knowledge, or encouraging someone to trust their instincts on the water, he takes pride in watching confidence grow with every nautical mile.
For Cliff, sailing is not simply about reaching a destination. It is about the journey, the teamwork, the stories shared along the way, and the friendships formed when people step aboard together. 🤝🌍

⚓ At the Helm: Sailor Jerry 🌊
For Jerry, known to his tribe as “Sailor Jerry,” the water has always been a calling. 🌊
Raised in Southern California ☀️🏄, he grew up surfing the Pacific and developed a lifelong passion for life on, under, and around the water. After a distinguished 23-year career in law enforcement 👮♂️, retiring as a Detective in 2011, Jerry continued serving others through leadership, mentoring, and adventure. 🤝🌍
Since 1998, he has owned and operated Water Craft ⚓, working as a commercial diver 🤿 and certified scuba instructor. His experience includes underwater search and recovery 🔍, welding and cutting 🔧, marine salvage, National Park Service contracts 🏞️, and safety diving for aquatic conservation projects 🐟.
Jerry discovered sailing in his twenties ⛵ and earned his American Sailing Association certifications in 2022 📜. He is currently pursuing his U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Master’s License ⚓. Together with his wife, Barbi ❤️, he has sailed catamarans throughout Greece 🇬🇷, Thailand 🇹🇭, Mallorca 🇪🇸, Portugal 🇵🇹, and Spain 🇪🇸, while traveling to more than 50 countries ✈️🌎.
Away from the water, Jerry spent 16 years coaching high school wrestling 🤼, helping lead his teams to seven State Championships 🏆 and three State Runner-Up finishes 🥈. He is also an avid motorcyclist 🏍️, motorcycle association officer, and four-time rider to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 🛣️.
Jerry is even an ordained minister in the Church of the Latter-Day Dude 🙏😎, bringing warmth, humor, and heart ❤️ to the wedding ceremony of the G~Man’s daughter and her husband 💍.
Whether he is skippering a catamaran ⛵, diving beneath the surface 🤿, crossing the country on two wheels 🏍️, or helping a friend in need 🤝, Jerry remains a loyal “Rescue Ranger” 🚑, devoted to family ❤️, faith 🙏, friendship 👊, and adventure 🌍.
